# Peptide Dosage Chart (Unit Conversion)

This chart converts amounts into syringe units and mL for common vial and water combinations. It doesn’t say what amount to use for any peptide. For amounts reported in published research, with their sources, see Peptide Library’s [peptide dosage chart](https://peptidelibrary.app/dosage-chart).

## Chart: 5 mg vial

| Amount | +1 mL (5 mg/mL) | +2 mL (2.5 mg/mL) | +2.5 mL (2 mg/mL) | +5 mL (1 mg/mL) |
| --- | --- | --- | --- | --- |
| 100 mcg | 2 (0.02 mL) | 4 (0.04 mL) | 5 (0.05 mL) | 10 (0.10 mL) |
| 250 mcg | 5 (0.05 mL) | 10 (0.10 mL) | 12.5 (0.125 mL) | 25 (0.25 mL) |
| 500 mcg | 10 (0.10 mL) | 20 (0.20 mL) | 25 (0.25 mL) | 50 (0.50 mL) |
| 1 mg | 20 (0.20 mL) | 40 (0.40 mL) | 50 (0.50 mL) | 100 (1 mL) |

## Chart: 10 mg vial

| Amount | +1 mL (10 mg/mL) | +2 mL (5 mg/mL) | +3 mL (3.333 mg/mL) | +5 mL (2 mg/mL) |
| --- | --- | --- | --- | --- |
| 250 mcg | 2.5 (0.025 mL) | 5 (0.05 mL) | 7.5 (0.075 mL) | 12.5 (0.125 mL) |
| 500 mcg | 5 (0.05 mL) | 10 (0.10 mL) | 15 (0.15 mL) | 25 (0.25 mL) |
| 1 mg | 10 (0.10 mL) | 20 (0.20 mL) | 30 (0.30 mL) | 50 (0.50 mL) |
| 2 mg | 20 (0.20 mL) | 40 (0.40 mL) | 60 (0.60 mL) | 100 (1 mL) |

Values with a half unit (2.5, 7.5, 12.5) fall between markings on most syringes. The calculator above shows the nearest readable marking for any combination.

## How to read a published dosage chart

- **Check the unit.** Research reports amounts in mg, mcg or IU per administration. Convert to your vial’s unit before using any chart.
- **Check the schedule.** “Per week” and “per day” amounts aren’t comparable without the frequency.
- **Check the source.** An amount studied in a controlled human trial is different evidence from one in an animal study or a forum post.
- **Units on a syringe are not a dose.** The same amount is a different number of units at every concentration, so a chart in “units” only applies to its own vial and water combination.

Peptide Library’s [dosage chart](https://peptidelibrary.app/dosage-chart) lists amounts reported in research for each peptide, with the evidence tier and source for each.

## Frequently asked questions

### Does this chart tell me how much to take?

No. It converts amounts into volumes for given vials. What amount to use isn’t something a calculator can decide; amounts reported in research are summarised, with sources, in Peptide Library’s dosage chart.

### Why do charts give different numbers of units for the same amount?

Because units measure volume. The same 250 mcg is 5 units at 5 mg/mL and 25 units at 1 mg/mL.

### Can I make a chart for my own vial?

Yes: enter your vial amount and liquid in the calculator above, then try amounts. The share link keeps your vial setup.
